About
Our story
Bringing live orchestral music to our community
Mission
Our mission
The Syracuse Chamber Orchestra inspires the human spirit through the power of live music – expanding the creative potential of career musicians, teachers, and working professionals by giving them the opportunity to perform and providing the community with exceptional music experiences.
History
A community ensemble
The Syracuse Chamber Orchestra is a newly-formed ensemble of local musicians who are professionals, para-professionals, and music teachers who want to perform and make music together. Supported in part by a grant from the CNY Community Arts program, the orchestra gave its inaugural concert on October 24, 2021 at the Onondaga Community College Recital Hall.
